If you are needing to unwind or break up your journey then we highly recommend our cute little Bach. It is a great weekend retreat where you can really relax and get away from it all. Our holiday home is only a short walk to the beach, as at the end of the street there is a walkway that leads you straight there (no negotiating streets). It is also only walking distance to the local cafes and shops and to Waitarere Park which has a children's playground and tennis courts.

Our Bach is suitable for both Summer or Winter. We have a air conditioner for the summer heat to keep you cool and a wood burner for the winter which heats the whole Bach very quickly. So you can either enjoy a drink on our deck in the summer or snuggle up with a book and enjoy the cozy warmth of the wood burner in the winter.

Waitarere Beach is a 10 minute drive to Levin, where there are many family attractions including two hydro slides for the children as well as a huge adventure playground. A further 20 mins down the road is a small township called Otaki which has now become a bargain hunters destination, with many factory outlet stores. Or perhaps you would prefer to go surfing, swimming, fishing or trekking through the Waitarere Forest. So no matter what you want to achieve for your get away whether it be a quiet weekend , or an action filled holiday for the family. Waitarere is a central destination which will please everyone.
Special conditions:
Smoking allowed outside only. Minimum two night stays preferred.
A discounted price can be negotiated for longer stays in the off season (outside the school holidays)

NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to: -
Clean the Bach. Do the dishes, and leave the Bach clean and tidy as you found it,
ready for the next guests arriving in.
There could be a cleaning fee charged if the Bach is not left clean.
You are also required to supply all your own linen. (Towels, flannels, sheets, Pillow Slips and tea towels)
